Well, let's hear it! The WIRC puts out a monthly newsletter for students in residence, to update all of you on what events we've been running, and opportunities for YOU to get involved! Do you have something to say? Why not send an email to Dan Hillis, our Director of Student Affairs, who puts the newsletter together? Obviously, we want to hear what you've been loving about residence, about the WIRC, and about your experiences thus far. We can't wait to hear from you! Submissions for October's newsletter are due on September 20th to studentaffairs@windsorirc.ca.

	Floor Rep Training! President Jillienne Simone 09.18.09
Congratulations to everyone who was elected as a WIRC Floor Representative! My name is Andrew Bell, for those of you who do not know me yet, and I am the President of the Windsor Inter-Residence Council. I want to personally commend you on being selected by your floors to represent their programming and advocacy issues - it is an important task to carry out, and I know you'll all be amazing. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Now, down to brass tacks, as I like to say. There will be a mandatory Floor Rep Training day this Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 pm in Winclare A. We will be discussing your role within the WIRC, what committees you can join, as well as doing some professional development sessions. Be sure to bring your student card, as we will be heading to the Pub en masse afterwards for dinner, and then back to Winclare for a social. It's going to be a lot of fun, but more importantly, the information that you will receive here is essential for your success as a WIRC Floor Representative over the next eight months.
